Scope and Contents The John Mickus Papers include a variety of documents and artifacts that span from 1967-2008. The bulk of the collection is made of grant proposals that Mickus wrote during his time at Southern Illinois University. There are grant proposals that include just the submitted application as well as ones that were awarded to the school. Kucera, O.S.B., who was the President of St. Procopius College and fifth abbot of St. Procopius Abbey at different times during the 1960s and 1970s. The bulk of the materials covers this time period. Scope and Contents Ralph Meeker taught at Benedictine University from 1970 until his retirement in 2014. This collection consists of records from the later part of his career, starting in 2001. The majority of the records come from the time during which he served as Dean of the College of Science and reflect his duties in that role.
